So I am considering today a legit spinning workout. I didn’t really get the full experience on Monday since we kept having to switch people on the bikes. But today, there were just enough bikes for everyone so we all got to stay on the bike the entire workout.

first spin class!
I just took my first real spin class! Since it’s at my college, it was a little different though. They over-enrolled the class, so there weren’t enough bikes for every student, so we had to keep switching. So while I was waiting for my turn, I did the treadmill for about 5 minutes in between 5.0 and 6.0. It was kind of nice to be back on the treadmill since I go so much faster haha....

Weight this morning: 180.8 pounds.
I’m surprised it wasn’t higher from this weekend’s shenanigans, so I’ll take it. My goal for August was to be 175 pounds or lower, and I still think I can do it. I didn’t drink much water this weekend, and ate a lot of sodium heavy foods, so I’m sure I’m retaining some water. It’s just more motivation to stay on...

Today I had the preliminary testing for my spinning class. Since it’s a college class, they have to see some measurable progress throughout the semester. A 1.8 pound loss! I love being on track and seeing the numbers go down :) It does seem kind of surreal though because I’m actually getting back down to my lowest weight. I was there about seven months ago, but slipped up big time. Now I’m slowly but surely working my way back down!
LA marathon.
I think I’m going to sign up for the 2012 Los Angeles Marathon. I’ve wanted to run this race for six years, and only know is it a realistic dream.

For the past three days, I have consistently weighed in at 178.4. I think it is safe to say that I am officially in the 170s (again). I knew most of the excess ‘weight’ from my weigh in on Monday was just water retention.
I also didn’t go running this morning, even though I was supposed to, but I’m thinking about going later tonight.
I finally figured out where to buy rice paper wrappers for spring rolls. The ones that have tons of fresh veggies and aren’t fried like eggrolls. I’m so stoked to finally make them! I’m thinking they would be great to take for lunch in between classes. There will definitely be pictured when I make them :)
Tomorrow is my sushi lunch with my aunt and I’m actually not...
